Web 2.0 Tools
These are some of my favourite Web 2.0 tools I have used in class with my students, or to organise material for lessons. If you click on the image below each description, it will take you directly to the sites. SliderocketSliderocket is an online presentation creation site. It has some great templates and you can directly upload video and audio. Student examples are provided in the dropdown list. Click on the image to go to the website.

VokiVokis are one of my favourite tools for the classroom. Even very young students can easily create talking characters. Great to use to welcome visitors to their blogs, or give instructions.

AnimotoAnimotos are an easy way for students to create beautiful clips to use as movie trailers,or illustrate concepts they have made as video clips. Teachers can get free education accounts with extra accounts for their students.

PoppletPopplet is a wonderful visual mind mapping tool to use with students to organise and brainstorm their ideas about a concept or research project. It is extremely attractive and students love to use it! Wonderful for so many subjects.

BoxBox is an online cloud storage site to store documents and other files. It has the enormous advantage of allowing you to embed documents directly into your webpages or edmodo.

Scoop.itScoop.it is a visual curation site for links and files for your favourite educational topics. You get four free curation sites. I am curating Graphic Novels, PBL, Smartphones in Class and Agriculture & Climate Change.
